Lily Smith

With a BA (Hons) in International Relations and Development from University of Birmingham, Lily joined Atkins Search as a Graduate Recruitment Consultant in late 2024. Lily works alongside Nicole Broughton and Laura Belcher in the Consultancy team operating in the Midlands, placing job seekers into reputable businesses on a Permanent basis.

Prior to beginning her career with Atkins Search, Lily attended Nottingham Girls High School and her undergraduate degree at the University of Birmingham. Alongside her studies, Lily spent 5-years as a part time Customer Assistant at Tesco as well as working in a student events and sales role for Naughty Horse Promotions in Birmingham.

Outside of work, Lily is a very active individual, partaking in sport throughout her youth, particularly being a part of the East Midlands Cheerleading Academy since she was 8 years old, the club in which she is attending the World Championships in Orlando Florida with, in April 2025. She has also been a qualified cheerleading coach for several years as well as being the President of the Cheerleading team, “Birmingham PussyCat” at the University of Birmingham in her final year of her degree.

Lily is also a very keen traveller and is hoping to visit many more new countries in the coming years, as well as being happiest around her family and friends and is driven by their ongoing support!
