Site Manager

Atkins Search have an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager to join an established, dynamic construction main contractor, operating across the UK.

Our client is looking to bring in a Site
Manager to work as a part of their existing construction team. You will be leading on various construction projects alongside the senior management team and given all the necessary tools to build a long-term and successful career.

• Running all on-site operations, including subcontractors, materials, and equipment
• Managing the day to day running of the projects and providing clear direction to those working on the construction site regarding their responsibilities and targets
• Managing and implementing of health and safety procedures. Ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are followed and adhered to
• Ensuring site presentation is always maintained at the correct standard
• Producing accurate progress reports and ensuring that they are updated accordingly
• Attending client and project progress meetings

The ideal candidate for the Site Manager job will have a proven track record as a Site Manager in a construction main contracting environment, delivering similar projects. You will also need to be proactive, positive and confident communicating at all levels and able to work as part of a team.

• Strong Communication skills
• Person management/Delegation skills
• Experience delivering D&B new build projects with values of circa £10M to £15M
• A good understanding of the building regulations, local authority agreements
• A methodical, professional, and collaborative approach
• Ability to organise your workload
• Ability to create a positive and organised site
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Temporary works
• Knowledge of contract conditions and law within the industry
