Site Manager

Atkins Search is currently looking for experienced Freelance Site Managers to join a regional construction business for an upcoming project in Leeds. This opportunity has arisen due to recent project awards and a strong pipeline of work, and you’ll be supporting an established delivery team.

• Industry Focus: The client works across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, residential, and education, with a focus on both new builds and refurbishments.

• Contract Management: Manage the efficient and economical execution of contracts to maximize returns and foster ongoing client relationships.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure construction accuracy, quality, and adherence to progress timelines.
• Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the project team throughout the delivery process.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Management Skills: Proven ability to delegate effectively and manage team dynamics.
• Project Experience: Experience delivering a range of projects, including multi-room and high-rise accommodations.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with building regulations and local authority agreements.
• Professional Approach: Methodical, collaborative, and organized in managing workloads.
• Site Environment: Ability to cultivate a positive and organized site atmosphere.
• Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid; knowledge of temporary works and contract conditions is essential.
• Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of the industry’s commercial aspects, with a commitment to health & safety and risk management.

• Rate: £250 - £270 per day
• Work Environment: Engage in a variety of projects with a reputable regional business known for its excellent working atmosphere
