Role
As a
Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee refurbishment projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role will involve managing subcontractor packages, working closely with site teams, and maintaining client relationships. You will be instrumental in delivering impactful schemes and contributing to the growth of the refurbishment division.
Responsibilities
- Manage the financial aspects of refurbishment projects, valued at
£5M to £8M, with occasional larger schemes. - Prepare and manage subcontractor procurement packages.
- Conduct cost reporting, valuations, and final account negotiations.
- Work closely with site teams to monitor progress and address challenges.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with agreed tender and payment terms.
Person
- Proven experience as a
Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within refurbishment or cut-and-carve projects. - Strong understanding of subcontractor management and cost control.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach.
- A proactive and driven individual who thrives in a dynamic team culture.
- Relevant degree or qualification in
Quantity Surveying
or
Construction Management.
Renumeration
