Senior Quantity Surveyor

Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an award-winning
Construction Consultancy based in Birmingham with hybrid working available.

Please note – Associate Quantity Surveyors will also be considered for the role.

As one of the leading Quantity Surveying practices in the UK, my client now has a strategic requirement to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their busy and growing team in Central Birmingham.

You will have the option to work on region leading projects ranging from £1m to £100m in value, across a variety of sectors in the West Midlands, including
pharmaceutical,
healthcare, residential, retail, education, commercial, heritage and conservation, and many more exciting schemes!

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in projects from inception to completion, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing and mentoring junior members of staff including assistants and apprentices
• Providing Quantity Surveying and
  Cost Management services from inception to completion
• Cost planning
• Cost management
• Value engineering
• Tender management
• Financial reporting
• Budget management
• Employers’ agent
• Valuations
