Senior Project Manager

Atkins Search are recruiting for a Site Service Manager on behalf of a well-established, industry-leading specialist MEICA contractor. Operating across the UK, our client specialises in the supply, installation, and maintenance of valves, penstocks, and actuators within the water and wastewater industry.

As Site Service Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all service works within a defined region, from contract receipt to completion. This includes project planning, resource allocation, and ensuring all work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget. You will oversee a team of Project Engineers and Site Technicians, ensuring effective deployment and performance management.

• Plan, manage, and deliver service projects safely and within budget.
• Oversee project resources, including labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors.
• Ensure commercial and contractual requirements are understood and met.
• Support the production of quotations for service and related works.
• Provide project progress updates for forecasting and scheduling.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance.
• Lead and develop the service team within the region.
• Produce and manage project documentation, including reports and contractual paperwork.

• Proven management experience in service project delivery.
• Background in the water industry or construction project environment preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness, including forecasting and contract management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Experience in subcontractor management and customer relations.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Full driving license.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
• Friday: 08:30 - 16:00
