Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Senior Health & Safety Consultant to join a market leading, highly reputable, multi-disciplined Consultancy.

Role

As a Senior Health & Safety Consultant you will conduct thorough Health and Safety audits and inspections on site, conducting risk assessments, monitoring and reporting. You will also have sound knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Building Regulations 2023 and be willing to deliver the new Building Regulations Principal Designer service to clients.

Person

The ideal candidate for the Senior Health & Safety Consultant job will have a proven track record as a Health & Safety Advisor/Consultant in either a Consultancy or Main Contracting setting, delivering similar projects and managing multi-disciplined on site teams. You will also need to be proactive, positive, and confident communicating at all levels and able to work as part of a team.

  • Have a good understanding of CDM Regulations 2015
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Person management/Delegation skills
  • Be confident in chairing design workshops and challenging designs
  • Experience delivering a mixture of projects across electrical installation
  • A good understanding of up-to-date Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act
  • A methodical, professional, and collaborative approach
  • Ability to organise your workload
  • Commitment to health & safety and risk management
