• Manage the full design process – working with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective solutions
• Drive collaboration between design, commercial, and operational teams.
  Lead design workshops, ensure buildability, and implement value engineering.
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, NHBC, BREEAM, and planning policies.
• Act as the primary design contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships.
• Support junior members of the Design Team

• Proven experience as a Design Manager in Design & Build projects (£10M and under).
• Strong knowledge of JCT D&B contracts and UK compliance requirements.
  Leadership skills – able to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and drive efficiency.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other design management tools.
• Care home construction experience is highly desirable, including knowledge of CQC regulations.
• Chartered status (MCIOB/RICS/RIBA) or working towards it is a plus.
