Role

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will take ownership of diverse and high-value projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering exceptional service to clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a wide range of building surveying services to a high standard.
  • Managing and leading projects, including coordination of in-house design services.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Undertaking technical reviews to ensure service quality and consistency.
  • Supporting the development of junior team members, including APC candidates.
  • Contributing to business growth through proactive client engagement and service delivery.

Person

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience as a Building Surveyor in a consultancy environment and demonstrate strong leadership skills. You'll be proactive, client-focused, and able to inspire confidence in your team and clients alike.

Essential requirements:

  • MRICS qualified with proven experience in Building Surveying.
  • A track record of delivering projects across multiple sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Ambitious and driven, with a clear focus on professional growth and career progression.
  • All-round technical knowledge of building surveying processes and regulations.

Desirable:

  • Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members.
  • Demonstrable business development or client management experience.
