Role

As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality architectural designs and technical solutions. You will be responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. This role offers an opportunity to lead projects, mentor and grow junior team members, contributing to the consultancy’s continued success.

Responsibilities

With support from the senior leadership team, you will be exposed to a variety of sectors to diversify your experience. Day to your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD and BIM software.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to develop and refine design solutions.
  • Oversee technical aspects of projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during the construction phase.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, sharing expertise and fostering growth.

Person

The ideal candidate for the Senior Architectural Technician role will be:

  • An experienced Architectural Technician with at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable in UK building regulations, planning processes, and construction methods.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • A strong communicator, capable of building relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Passionate about architecture and eager to contribute to the success of high-profile projects.

Remuneration
