Roofing and Cladding Senior Estimator

Atkins Search are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a driven Roofing & Cladding Senior Estimator to join one of the market leading Roofing and Cladding specialist Subcontractors based in Derby.

Due to the ability to work on a hybrid or remote basis, candidates can be based across the Midlands and further afield.

Due to their ongoing expansion, they are looking for a Roofing & Cladding Senior Estimator to join the commercial team. • Oversee the tender process from receipt to submission, ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive, and align with internal procedures
• Collaborate with the supply chain, internal teams, and clients to secure and deliver successful bids
• Prepare and submit tenders for industrial projects across the UK, ranging from £200K to £15M
• Develop and present tender submissions and participate in pre- and post-tender meetings
• Effectively manage time to meet all submission deadlines
• Maintain communication with clients regarding tender progress and negotiations
• Enhance product and service knowledge to uphold the company’s reputation
• Work closely with Contracts, Commercial, and Office departments to ensure seamless project execution

• Must have previous experience in an estimating role within the roofing and cladding industry
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and methodical, with strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Extensive knowledge and experience in roofing and wall cladding systems
• Proven track record of negotiating and securing contracts within the industry
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships to support business growth
• Proficient in IT, with a strong command of Microsoft Office and other relevant software
