Based in Birmingham, our esteemed and well-established client offers national coverage delivering Quantity Surveying & Project Management services from scheme inception through to completion.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering enthralling projects with a hands-on approach throughout the whole project life cycle from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered within budget, on time, and to the client's requirements.

In addition, the Quantity Surveyor will benefit from a collaborative working approach, sharing resources and expertise with the neighbouring regions and offices, sharing a vision to work together and create a varied workload working with highly reputable clients, brands & sector leaders.

As a Quantity Surveyor your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Cost planning
• Cost management
• Value engineering
• Tender management
• Financial reporting
• Budget management
• Employers’ agent
• Valuations
• Mentoring junior members of the team

The ideal Quantity Surveyor candidate must be able to portray the following:

• Demonstrate a proven track record of cost management services
• MRICS chartered or working towards
• Strong commercial awareness
• Have the ability to communicate effectively
• Desire and motivation to succeed
