Role

As Planning Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Planning function within a multi-disciplined business, providing planning and programming services, including preconstruction
and live construction site delivery,
to a variety of Blue-Chip clients and Contractors across construction, built environment
and property sectors.

  • Lead, manage and grow the planning function within the organisation.
  • Provide construction tender, live site planning, programming and delay analysis services to blue-chip clients and Tier 1, 2 & 3 contractors.
  • Oversee preconstruction and tender preparation using Asta Power Project, writing method statements and logistics planning.
  • Develop robust construction live site delivery project plans, covering all aspects of construction delivery to include progress tracking.
  • Conduct delay analysis to assess impact and implement correction measures.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with existing clients, partners and suppliers.
  • Develop business through new relationships and networking with clients, partners and suppliers.

Person

To be considered for this role the successful Planning Manager will ideally have the following background and experience:

  • Experienced in all types of project planning and control works including live environments, new build and refurbishment within Construction.
  • Possess leadership ability to build, grow and lead a high-performing planning team.
  • Proficient planning software user (ASTA Power Project).
  • Demonstrable track record within a similar Planning role for a Construction Consultancy or Construction Contractor.
  • Strong communicator with a positive and forward-thinking mindset.
