Health & Safety Consultant

As a Health & Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert health and safety advice and guidance to clients in the construction industry. Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting site audits and risk assessments.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and industry standards.
• Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
• Advising on safe working practices and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
• Providing training and support to site teams and clients.
• Preparing reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
• Supporting the management of health and safety during project delivery, from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate for the Health & Safety Consultant role will possess the following:

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of current health and safety regulations and legislation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams.
• A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in delivering health and safety training and workshops is desirable.
• Chartered status with IOSH (or working towards) is a plus.
