Role
As a Health & Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert health and safety advice and guidance to clients in the construction industry. Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting site audits and risk assessments.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and industry standards.
- Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
- Advising on safe working practices and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
- Providing training and support to site teams and clients.
- Preparing reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
- Supporting the management of health and safety during project delivery, from inception to completion.
Person
The ideal candidate for the Health & Safety Consultant role will possess the following:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of current health and safety regulations and legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in delivering health and safety training and workshops is desirable.
- Chartered status with IOSH (or working towards) is a plus.
