Electrical Contracts Manager

Atkins Search are currently working with a well-respected Electrical Contractor to recruit a knowledgeable Electrical Contracts Manager to join their diverse and professional team.

Based in Derby, our client holds over 20 years’ experience as the number one choice services contractor for a number of regional and national construction main contractors and developers in England, as well as for a number of blue-chip commercial and educational institutions around the country.

As an Electrical Contracts Manager, you will play a critical role in managing electrical projects from start to finish up to the value of £5m. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, and your team to ensure everything runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.

• Lead and manage electrical building projects to meet all objectives
• Develop and keep track of project schedules, budgets, and resources
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Visit sites regularly to check on progress and ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Prepare and present project updates and financial reports
• Identify and solve any project risks or issues quickly
• Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and standards
• Promote a positive and collaborative team environment

• Previous experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager delivering commercial projects
• Experience delivering electrical projects up to the value of £5m
• Excellent project awareness and understanding of the need to adhere to programme, to maximise revenue
• Problem solver with a dynamic and proactive approach to finding effective solutions.
• Proven and extensive people management experience
• Communicates clearly and concisely at all levels using various methods of communication
