Director Project Manager

Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Director Project Manager to join a Leeds based Consultancy who are well known for varied, quality led services across the construction and property industry.

Please note that if you’re an Associate Project Manager, you will also be considered for the Director Project Manager role.

Due to continued success in the last year, our client are currently expanding their Project Management team within their new, vibrant Leeds office to build on its ongoing accomplishments, as the Director of Project Management, you would be working in an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy, with a secure pipeline of work.

As a Director of Project Management, you will be heavily involved in key client development, financial forecasting, team management and growth.

Your responsibilities will also include but are not limited to:

• Business development
• Leading projects and often coordinating
  the in house multi discipline design services
• Client management of existing and new
• Supervising, managing and mentoring junior members of the project management team
• Technical reviews to manage the quality of our services

To be considered for the Director Project Management role, the successful professional must be able to demonstrate the following traits and attributes:

• Consultancy experience
• Be commercially minded for winning work and business development
• Be able to manage your own workload
• Capable of managing individual team members, organising their work where necessary and providing guidance on projects
• Good communication and client facing skills
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Excellent all-round technical building surveying knowledge
• An analytical mind with a high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations
