Director Building Surveyor

As a Director – Building Surveyor, you will be instrumental in leading and expanding the consultancy’s building surveying division in Yorkshire and the North. This role requires both technical expertise and commercial acumen, as you will oversee key projects, manage client relationships, manage Building Surveying teams and drive business development.

• Lead and manage the Building Surveying division, overseeing project delivery and team performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality service and repeat business.
• Provide expert advice on building surveying matters, including dilapidations, party wall, defect analysis, and technical due diligence.
• Play a key role in business development, identifying new opportunities and contributing to strategic growth.
• Oversee financial performance, fee forecasting, and resource management.
• Mentor and develop junior surveyors, fostering a high-performing and motivated team.

• Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with extensive post-qualification experience.
• Proven track record in business development and client management.
• Experience leading a team and managing complex surveying projects.
• Strong technical knowledge across the commercial, residential, and public sectors.
