Role

As the Contracts Manager, you will manage anywhere between 4-5 projects at one given time which include Kitchen and Bathroom contracts whilst managing a team of Site Supervisors, Multi-Skilled Labourers, and working alongside a Quantity Surveyor and Operations Controller to ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed timelines and budgets on behalf of local authority, framework lead and private sector clients.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the efficient and economical execution of contracts under the contract conditions
  • Working in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor and delivery team, ensuring accurate delivery whilst maintaining quality and progress
  • Provide sound advice, guidance and support to the project team throughout the full lifecycle of projects
  • Promote the well-being
    of your teams and ensure that an inclusive workplace where diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience is actively encouraged and achieved
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently with a hands-on and positive approach
  • Liaise directly with the project team, tenants, and client on a regular basis to ensure full transparency and project updates

Person

The ideal candidate for the Contracts Manager job will have a proven track record as a Contracts Manager in a facilities management environment, delivering similar projects. You will also need to be proactive, positive, and confident communicating at all levels and able to work as part of a team.

  • A good understanding of the building regulations, local authority agreements
