Business Development Consultant


OVERVIEW

Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Business Development Consultant/Regional Account Manager.

CLIENT

Our client is an
industry leader in site engineering, surveying and management solutions for over 35 years, providing vital services, resources and assistance to any project, no matter how large or small.

They provide a one-stop-shop service for all requirements, with each of their specialist services backed by industry-specific experts, to ensure that each
project runs smoothly from start to finish.

Experts in a wide variety of services including survey equipment hire and survey equipment repair. They've been involved with a range of projects across the United Kingdom, including construction supervision services at national landmarks.

ROLE

As a Business Development Consultant you'll:

  • Maximise sales of leading-edge commercial solutions within your sales territory, encompassing a range of technologies including robotic total stations, GPS, 3D laser scanning and UAVs
  • Represent our client with distinction at pivotal industry events such as trade shows and technical presentations
  • If you enjoy building connections, meeting clients and demonstrating solutions, then this field-based role is perfect for you. You'll have the opportunity to hit the road and engage with clients working in varied applications.

PERSON

  • Experience in a business development/sales role OR experience of working with surveying and engineering technology
  • Technical sales experience within the construction or survey industry would be ideal, with a willingness to learn about Trimble Survey Instruments
  • A highly motivated individual with an enthusiastic and adaptable approach, eager to drive success within a dynamic sale environment
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in developing effective strategies, proposals, forecasting and reporting would be helpful Possession of a Full UK driving license
