Building Surveyor

Atkins Search are currently recruiting on behalf of a Leeds based Construction Consultancy for a Building Surveyor to join a nationally recognised, proactive team.

As a Building Surveyor, you will be heavily involved in supporting more senior members. You will also be responsible for a variety of day-to-day activities including:

• Supporting delivery of building surveying services
• Leading projects and helping with coordinating
  in house multi discipline design services
• Client management
• Technical reviews to manage the quality of our services

The successful candidate for the Building Surveyor job in Leeds will have a proven track record in a similar role in Construction Consultancy environment. You will also need to be proactive, positive and confident communicating at all levels and able to work as part of a close-knit team.

• Relevant Building Surveying experience in a construction consultancy environment
• Ambitious, career driven attitude
• Building Surveying degree/qualification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• Working towards completion of MRICS Chartership
• Consultancy experience
• Be able to manage your own workload with supervision
• Capable of organising your work
• Good communication and client facing skills
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• All-round technical building surveying knowledge
• An analytical mind with a high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations
