Branch Manager


Overview

Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager to join a dynamic, aspiring property and development firm based in Derby.

Client

My client operates as a property development and construction contractor company delivering a variety of projects such as refurbishments and new build for both external clientele and internal portfolios.

Within the last 4 years my client has been focusing on retaining the properties they purchase and refurbish, to build the ever-growing portfolio as well as focussing on building their external landlord and lettings base.

Role

This Branch Manager job is to take on the challenge of overseeing a diverse property portfolio. You will play a crucial role in Business Development and ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and growth of the property portfolio while delivering exceptional service to tenants and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing strategies to grow the branch's market share and customer base
  • Networking with landlords, property developers, investors, and other stakeholders to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the local property market
  • Conducting market analysis to keep up to date with trends and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Successfully explain all services provided to any potential landlords
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations within the lettings team
  • On boarding new landlords ensuring all necessary checks are conducted
  • Up selling any services to clients
  • Developing promotional campaigns tailored to the branch's target audience
  • Face to face meeting with clients
  • Coordinate daily with the inhouse Property Manager and Lettings Negotiator regarding landlord and tenant communication

Person

  • Proven experience in business development, sales management, or a similar role within the lettings, real estate or property investment industry
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Property Market, specifically off-plan staying updated on the latest trends, regulations, and developments within the UK property market, with a specific focus on off-plan investment properties
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and contractors
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
