Atkins Search have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager to join a leading, Nottingham based construction main contractor.

Role

As a Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in securing pcsa and framework lead schemes, contributing to the business’ continued success. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and partners to lead the preparation, submission, writing and management of persuasive bids and proposals.

You will be working alongside Bid Managers and a wider Preconstruction team, focussed on work-winning across various sectors, applying your expertise to deliver high-quality bids and tenders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire bid process for new and existing clients and frameworks
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning strategies and ensure compliance with client requirements
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand client needs and tailor proposals accordingly
  • Manage bid submissions, including writing, editing, and coordinating inputs from various stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance presence in key sectors
  • Continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the bid process

Person

  • Proven experience in bid management within the construction sector
  • A strong understanding of the bidding and procurement process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Outstanding organisational and project management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple deadlines
  • A creative and strategic thinker, with an eye for detail
