Associate Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a market-leading, highly reputable, and employee-focused Construction Consultancy based in Birmingham, delivering various schemes across the public and private sectors including residential, retail, education, leisure, mixed-use developments, industrial/logistics, automotive, aviation, commercial, healthcare, infrastructure, etc.

This role offers a great opportunity to develop as an Associate Quantity Surveyor, and assist with wider business operations such as providing input on business strategy, representing the organisation at various networking events and leading major client meetings etc.

In addition, the Associate Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the following:

• Providing general Cost Management services from inception to completion
• Cost planning
• Cost management
• Value engineering
• Tender analysis
• Financial reporting
• Completing valuations
• Overseeing and mentoring junior members of staff including assistants and apprentices

To be successful in application for this Associate Quantity Surveyor role, you must:

• Demonstrate a history of leading, managing, and overseeing projects
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Have prior experience in managing a team of Quantity Surveyors
• Provide support and mentorship
• RICS Chartered or at least working towards
