Role

As an Associate Director – Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex construction projects while playing a key role in business development and team leadership. This role requires both technical expertise and commercial acumen to support the consultancy’s continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multiple construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic project management solutions.
  • Manage procurement, contract administration, and risk management across projects.
  • Oversee project teams, coordinating consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Play a pivotal role in business development, identifying new opportunities and building strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to the growth and leadership of the consultancy, mentoring junior staff and supporting operational strategy.

Person

  • Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline (e.g., Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Civil Engineering).
  • Chartered status (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in project management within a consultancy environment, with a proven track record of leading major projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience in business development and client management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and keen to play a key role in a growing consultancy.
