Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for our client, you have the invaluable opportunity to operate and develop within an experienced team and receive expert support to progress and improve your skillset and career.

You will take on a hands-on approach throughout the project life cycle, overseeing the efficiency and implementation of project budgets, time scales, and client requirements.

Due to the current wins of the companies’ projects, you will be welcomed with the opportunity to work very closely with Main Contractors on Construction Management Schemes all across the UK – specifically the Midlands and Southeast, undertaking work across these locations and varying projects.

Responsibilities

Becoming an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for our client will require you to undertake certain responsibilities in your project involvement from inception to completion. These responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in providing cost management services from inception to completion
  • Cost planning
  • Cost management
  • Value engineering
  • Tender management
  • Financial reporting
  • Budget management
  • Employers’ agent
  • Valuations

Person

The ideal Assistant Quantity Surveyor candidate will be successful if they:

  • Hold a degree level qualification related to construction
  • Have experience working within a consultancy
  • Around 2-4 years of Quantity Surveying experience
  • Excellent communication skills

Remuneration
