Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Atkins Search are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor vacancy to join a reputable Construction Consultancy based in Nottingham.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work within an experienced Quantity Surveying team and receive support to develop your career and surveying skills.

Due to recent project wins, you will have the opportunity work closely with Main Contractors on Construction Management schemes in the East Midlands, and work across traditional consultancy projects in different industry sectors.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in projects from inception to completion, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in providing Cost Management services from inception to completion
• Cost planning
• Cost management
• Value engineering
• Tender management
• Financial reporting
• Budget management
• Employers agent
• Valuations

To be successful in application for this role, the ideal candidate will hold a degree level qualification related to construction, have experience working within a consultancy, ideally 1-2 years Quantity Surveying experience, have excellent communication skills.
