Assistant Project Manager
OVERVIEW
Atkins Search are currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in Birmingham.
My client provides a variety of Project Management and Cost Management services to national, blue chip clients and developers across all built environment and infrastructure sectors.

ROLE
As Assistant Project Manager, you will be working alongside Senior Project Managers and Associate Directors to deliver diverse and exciting projects from inception to completion.
You will predominately work on sites across the Midlands across a variety of interesting sectors including commercial, defence, retail, industrial, logistics, local authority, public sector and aviation along with much more!
This role requires a hands-on approach and will suit someone who is looking to learn and develop whilst working alongside some of the industry’s leading knowledgeable professionals.
PERSON
To work efficiently and successfully within this role, the successful Assistant Project Manager will have –
- Construction related degree (or equivalent)
- Ideally 1-2 years’ experience with a Construction Consultancy or Contractor
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Naturally strong leadership, motivational and mediation skills
- Ability to take initiative without guidance
- A goal-oriented mindset and good organisational skills
- Great attention to detail and ability to multi-task
