Laura’s Comments on her 6 Year Anniversary
We asked Laura for her reflection of her time here at Atkins Search:
Six years ago, I faced a pivotal moment in my career where I was uncertain about my next step and questioning what I truly wanted from my career, but after one conversation with Antony Rowe, I knew I had found something special. On February 11th2019, I took the leap of faith and looking back, it was one of the best professional decisions I’ve ever made!
Walking into Atkins Search for the first time, I had no idea of the incredible journey ahead. From day one, the vision was clear; build something meaningful, create an environment where people thrive and redefine what success looks like in our industry. Now, six years later, we are well on our way. We’re far from perfect but our commitment to our people, our culture, our values, and the work we do remains stronger than ever.
Over these past six years, I’ve been fortunate to experience so much, such as recently progressing my career to Operations Director, playing a key role across the business as well as continuing to build and work alongside an incredible team. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is watching both the company and the people within it develop and flourish.
I feel genuinely grateful to be part of a business where our culture is the foundation of everything we do. Atkins Search is more than just a workplace; it’s an opportunity to challenge yourself, push boundaries and achieve things you never thought possible. You just need to show up and “put your shoulder to the wheel” in the words of Antony Rowe.
